Website updated 7th January
That’s the first update of the year completed, a total of 378 new items have been added to the web site.
Had a good response to the newsletter despite many people not receiving it, including bizarrely me on either of my email addresses, despite them being different ISPs. I think that’s the problem of listing too many Sex Pistols records, the spam filters think it’s a sex service or porn site mailshot.
If you didn’t receive it and would like a copy message me, although everything left has been integrated into the website.
The most expensive item, the 7″ DJ edit promo with different lyrics for The Damned ‘I Just Can’t Be Happy Today’ sold, but the highest demand was for The Limps / No Support 7″ on Matchchbox Classics, with also big demand for the first Damned album 1977 Belgian pressing on blue vinyl and for the United Artists promo badges and stickers acquired from a sales rep who’d stored what he hadn’t given to record shops since the late 1970s. Luckily there were multiples of these, although The Stranglers ‘No More Heroes’ stickers and badges have all gone. Lots of interest in the very rare promo only Stranglers ‘I’ve Learnt Peaches’ promo badge from 1977.

What didn’t sell, which was surprising as I reguarly get asked for them and never had them were the Gaslight Anthem singles.
Not sure when the next update will be but it’ll contain as always some punk rarities but also a large delection of new items as I’m busy trading with foreign labels and distributors to offer you some interesting records and reissues that are hard to find in the UK. So, a good mixture of old and new.
