I recently had the good fiortune to meet someone who told me about his band called The Jelly Babies who had released an EP in 1981. Much to my surprise I’d not heard of this release and duly managed to acquire one from him.
The record is excellent! It’s the punkier end of post-punk so imagine the noisier material by the Swell Maps.
Released in 1981 it was a limited edition of 500 in four different covers, with each member doing their own design. The labels are rubber stamped. Totally DIY – MAGNIFICENT!
I prized a second copy from him and that will be on the next mailout.
