Rare Official Snowglobe
Rare official Ramones snow globe made by artists Andrew D. Gore and Arturo Vega as part of the former’s Psycho Snowglobes series. The snow globe measures 3.5″ x 3.75″ x 2.5″ and features an interior plaque with omnidirectional Ramones imagery, including a band image, the Ramones presidential seal logo, the names of each band member, and pinhead designs with text “Gabba Gabba Hey” and “Hey Ho Lets Go!” The base bears an affixed Ramones “Official Merchandise” label. Includes the original “Psycho Snowglobes” box, with the upper label marked in red felt tip, “Ramones.” In very good to fine condition, with low liquid to snow globe, and some wear to the box. Gore notes that the Ramones snow globe was the first in a line of official Ramones products that he and Vega worked on together. Only a small batch was ever produced and they were exclusively sold on Vega’s OFFICIALRAMONES.com website, which was taken offline soon after the latter’s untimely passing. This very Ramones snow globe can be seen in the Ramones’ ‘End of the Century’ documentary during the interviews with CJ Ramone. The base has a crack in which happened in transit from USA to UK.
