The Mystery Of Superior Foreign 7″ Pic Covers

I’ve often wondered how some of the European pic covers are so vastly superior to their UK pressing.

Take for example this French pressing of the Cyanide I’m A Boy 7″. It’s far more interesting than the UK issue. If the French label could do a good job then how come the UK label couldn’t? Beats me!!
