Following the phenomenal success of the brilliant "Rage Against The Machine For Xmas No.1" facebook group in 2009, I've decided to start a group for 2010 too. The corporate system manipulated the charts in June 1977 to prevent this song being a no.1 as it would have been a major embarrassment to the queen's silver jubilee celebrations. Let's give another 2 fingered salute to the establishment and give a band who are a national treasure the debut chart topper they deserve. A no.1 in June would need a fraction of the sales of a Xmas no.1. 75,000 should do it.

Average Sales Figures UK Top 5 in 2008

Chart Pos Sales
1 71,540
2 36,018
3 30,162
4 26,427
5 23,467

We at The Sex Pistols Channel endorse this campaign wholeheartedly. In 1977 for the only time in the U.K. Chart History there was no number 1. We made history that day. Lets do it again Ladies & Gentlemen.

    Merry Christmas to you all
