New Facebook Style Punk Site

There’s a new punk site that may interest some of you. It’s a facebook style site for punks called Punk Rock Direct. Seems to be quite well put together and professional. I’m not a member of any of these sites, it’s probably a generational thing, seems to be popular amongst younger kids.

There are just 60 of this limited version of the excellent new Lurkers LP ‘Fried Brains’. The limited version is on pink vinyl, numbered and with a badge. You’ve guessed it we’ve acquired a few copies.
Someone Is Spreading Lies About the Adicts

One idiot puts up a post on the internet about Monkey from The Adicts dying of cancer and suddenly it has spread around the net like gospel and everyone is talking about it. Well there’s not a shed of truth in it and I hope they catch the cretin that made this lie up, it’s not remotely funny.
So their UK tour is DEFINITELY on. I’m looking forward to seeing them at the Durham Punk Festival on 13th September but you can also see them at Ipswich Corn Exchange on 11th Sept, London Islington Academy 12th Sept, and Birmingham Academy 2 on the 14th.
I can honestly say they are the only band that I’ve seen that are better know than they were in the 80s. Highly recommended.
